Big Rewards: Get involved in church planting not just because of the responsibility but also the privileges that God grants to those who partner in planting.
According to the Bible, Jesus' teachings and actions show that he was a church planter and called his disciples to plant churches as well:
The Great Commission: In Matthew 28:18–20, Jesus commands his disciples to make disciples, baptize, and teach them to follow his commandments.
Church planting method: In Luke 10, Jesus teaches his disciples to stay in the home of a "person of peace," plant a church there, heal the sick, and send out new disciples to do the same.
Church establishment: Jesus established the universal church and claimed that "the gates of hell would not prevail against it" (Matthew 16:18).
Church commissioning: Jesus commissioned his disciples to plant churches.
Church multiplication: Jesus built his church to multiply his mission.
